A downloadable game

#update 9/28/23
This will be the last .apk update where you can sideload. It'll be easier to just use Meta Oculus Applab. Though this is the most recent version if you want to play it by sideloading.

Tired of searching the web on the flat 2d browser. Well now with VR you can search the web in 3d! Break any item in the game and out will pop-up a piece of the internet. Exploring the internet has never been made easier and more fun!

Meta Oculus Applab - Live!
Sidequestvr
Desktop Launcher (on hold) - https://playwebsurf.com/

PCVR - Coming soon for all other platforms. Will also be featured eventually on the desktop launcher version as well!

Install instructions

#update 9/29/23
webSurf is finally up on Meta Oculus Applab. This is probably the easiest way to play, but placing this .apk just for funsies. It really isn't necessary to sideload like this. I'll be taking the sideload too off Sidequestvr to directly link to applab. However, if you still want to nerd out and sideload, the archived instructions are below for your viewing pleasure!

Warning - installation/download through this itch platform is intended for nerds, dorks, dweebs and geeks etc etc.

Nerd/Dork/Dweeb/Geek Installation:

Command Line Method: This is basically similar to developing for android apps and uploading via usb (and probably wireless now too, though I haven't done that personally via android development). Upload the .apk to your headset as if you would an android phone and check the "unknown sources" section on the headset. If you are not a developer and don't know what I just said then please refer to this UploadVR tutorial on how to take the downloadable .apk and sideload it to your quest.

Drag and Drop: If you are a developer, you can also use the Oculus Developer Hub to point click and upload. You'll have to read through the manual to do this though. Please refer to the docs on the link provided for the ODH. There are tabs in the ODH where you take the .apk file here and upload it to your headset via usb or wireless.
